You’re probably doing better than you think you are.

A few days ago, I was CONVINCED I hadn't made enough progress.

In fact, more correctly, I was beating myself up wondering what in the heck I had been doing for the last couple of weeks. I was sure I had been totally lagging behind, barely doing a thing.

You know that feeling?

The one where you look at the list of everything still left to do and somehow forget literally EVERYTHING you've already done?

Well, that was me.

Then I sat down, looked at my calendar, and wrote out what I had actually been doing.

In the last two weeks, I:

Submitted to several scientific conferences

Created all the webpages for my new research foundation - the Institute of Holistic and Intuitive Sciences (it’s awesome!)

Created and lead my first Flow Method Masterclass for Practitioners

Led my practitioner certification masterminds and trainings

Helped 3 clients finally heal from things they’d been dealing with for years

AND got my husband through a serious health emergency while keeping things as stable as possible for our 9 year old daughter.

So, yeah...

My brain had told me a big o’ lie that I was not accomplishing anything…

That I was woefully behind, or somehow lazy and unorganized.

I literally forgot ALL of this - everything I had done poof! Out of the brain completely.

As I stared at the page in shock for how much I actually HAD been doing, I wondered, “How often do we do this to ourselves? How often do we completely forget how far we actually have come and what we have done?"

My honest answer?

All the time.

How about you? Do you do this, too?

I bet you might.

In fact, in working with so many practitioners, therapists, coaches, and healers, I think this is one of the most common patterns I see:

You do amazing work, but all you remember is the client you couldn’t quite help, or the session that didn’t go as planned.

Or you think you are not ready to use that new technique, thinking you haven’t quite mastered it yet.

Or you see how much more you want from your business, and, despite having to wear ALL the hats of practitioner, intake person, marketer, graphic designer, and more - you think you are woefully behind and a mess.

That might be all you remember, but they are lies.

Because what you’re forgetting?

The hundreds of moments where you did make a huge difference.

The people who left their session with you feeling lighter, or finally feeling understood and heard.

Or that person who said, “Wow - that is a huge shift for me. I never thought about it that way before!”

Or how much you have accomplished, wearing all the hats in your business.

There are a lot of reasons why you might do this to yourself (and why I do, too!).

Maybe it wasn’t safe for you to celebrate yourself.

Maybe you were taught that your only worth was by doing more - that nothing was enough.

Maybe, like so many people with a soul’s calling to heal the world, you hold yourself to very high standards, seeing all the need in the world and never feeling like you are making enough of a difference.

I understand.

If this sounds like you, then you are who I built my practitioner certifications for…

Because when you know where to begin, everything changes.

You spend less time searching for the root…

Less time guessing…

Less time hoping you'll figure it out…

Less time preparing for a session…

And more time doing what you became a practitioner to do: Creating meaningful transformation.

And, while you might forget what you did for someone (as I often do!), you will have more of the massive, memorable shifts that are harder to forget.

This Sunday I'm hosting my first Founder Session.

We'll talk about where practitioner education is headed, why I believe root-cause work is entering a new chapter, and how The Flow Method and Body Translation fits into that vision.

We will talk about my passion in helping to train extraordinary practitioners that are not only doing amazing work aligned with their soul gifts, but who are part of a community of support and encouragement (and helping each other remember how far we have come!).

We will connect, talk, chat, and learn together.

If you're the kind of practitioner who's always asking thoughtful questions and loves learning and improving...and if this post resonated with you…

I think you'll feel right at home.

I'd love to have you join us.

Oh, and bring your favorite coffee or tea and come exactly as you are. This isn't a webinar—it's a conversation.

See you Sunday -

Much love,

Tara
